Western Canada Is Ready

This month, Vancouver will welcome the world as a host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, one of the biggest sporting events on the planet.

While the matches will be played in British Columbia, the excitement will be felt across Western Canada. From major cities to small towns throughout Alberta and British Columbia, this is a moment that people across our region can celebrate together.

For us, the World Cup is about more than sport. It is a reminder of how much Western Canada has grown over the years.

Across both provinces, businesses continue to invest, communities continue to expand, and new opportunities continue to emerge. The people who live and work here have helped build one of the most resilient and entrepreneurial regions in the country.

At Sky Titan Glass Distributors and Continental Glass Group, we have had the privilege of growing alongside that momentum.

Not long ago, we were a new company working to earn our place in a competitive industry. Today, we are proud to serve customers across Alberta and British Columbia, from large urban centres to the many independent businesses that keep smaller communities moving every day.

Events like the World Cup remind us that progress does not happen overnight. It is built by people willing to invest, innovate, and put in the work year after year. Long before the world arrives, local businesses, tradespeople, employees, and entrepreneurs are already doing the work that helps a region move forward.

As Western Canada prepares to welcome visitors from around the globe, we would like to thank our customers, suppliers, partners, and employees who have been part of our journey.

The spotlight may be on Vancouver, but this is a moment that belongs to all of Western Canada.

From British Columbia to Alberta, from major cities to the smallest communities we proudly serve, we look forward to celebrating it together.

The world is coming to Vancouver. Western Canada is ready.
